In fact, Ecuador produces some of the best chocolate anywhere in the world, and this is celebrated every year at the annual Salon de Chocolate festival held in the Ecuadorean capital, Quito.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the 2020 Salon de Chocolate, and they will be able to enjoy exclusive chocolate tastings from Ecudorean producers both large and small, as well as seeing annual awards handed out, including for the prestigious chocolate sculpture competition - which has to be seen to be believed!
