Peru's Famous Food Festival
From small beginnings back in 2008, the annual Mistura Food Festival has grown into the biggest in Peru, if not the biggest food festival in the whole of South America.
From the start, Mistura has concentrated on showcasing the very best in Peruvian cuisine, from traditional dishes based on ancestral recipes, to modern takes on classic Peruvian recipes and the best of wider Latin American cuisine.
For the past few years, Mistura has been held at a huge showground on Lima's Costa Verde, and TimeOut magazine described Mistura 2016 as one of their 30 Unmissable things to do in 2016.
