Treks in the Lake District
Further north, the Argentine 'Lake District' around Bariloche offers more gentle treks which still reward you with spectacular scenery, including the famous "Seven Lakes" viewpoint. This is a great area for anyone who enjoys some walking but doesn't want a full-on camping trip, and because it's further north in Argentina, the trekking season also lasts a little longer here.

This 2-day trek is a real favourite of ours, giving you the chance to appreciate the best of the beautiful Bariloche countryside, with its forests, mountains and glacial lakes. It's one of the most beautiful areas for trekking in Argentina and there's no better way to explore it.
